    When he used to pay his daily visits there, hos orders were to give them more stirabout of the damaged indian meal and to get a whip and run them up several times against the Co. Home hill. When he used to visit there the first thing he would ask was, how many on the dead list to-day. When he would the amount some man would say Seán Buidhe would say "ah ye are not giving them enough of the whip".
