  1. The ancient Irish firmly believed that the Duns, raths, rocks and hillside were inhabited by fairies. The most famous of the raths were in Dunmore, Dun-Lion, Ard-na-Ross and Cregawana bends all in the Isle of Doagh. The rath which was supposed to be densely populated with fairies was in Dun-Lim The following fairy song is handed dow to us by the old people We are sometimes in Gorey, we are often in Drum, but are jolly old quarter is up in Dun-Lim
