  1. Measles
    The cure for measles is go out and pull a few handfuls of young nettles. Bring them in and wash them. Then boil them. Strain the juice out of them. Then put sugar in the juice. What is then made is called nettle wine, and when drunk it will cure measles.
    Indigestion
    Pull a few handfuls of dandelions by the roots. Then wash them and boil them. When they are well boiled strain the juice out of them, and put sugar into it. This will cure indigestion.
    Kidney Disease
    Wild parsley is gathered then washed and stewed. The juice is then strained out of it and is drunk.
    Sprain
    The cure for a sprain is to steep chickenweed
