   There was a house out in the country; and this man went to visit it. The woman of the house had three pots of water boiling on the fire. The man asked her if she was going to kill pigs, no she said Paddy is going to shave. The dog, cat and all were put outside. The man waited outside for about five minutes. He says, the suds and water was running out under the door when Paddy was finished shaving.

   There was a man and he got married and his wife and he could not agree.
   This day his wife left him, and before she left she wrote on a blackboard, "What is home without a wife."
   The man came in to the house drunk that night. He looked at the black board and began to read, "What is home without a wife."
   He took up the chalk and wrote "Peace pearfect peace."
