  1. Some of the grown up boys and girls go out in the mummers before Christmas.
    On St. Bridget's night some people leave out a dry cloth and after wards the people will put it on their head as a cure for headache. On St Bridget's Eve the people make little crosses out of rushes. On the 23rd June we have the feast of St John and it is known as the Bonfire night.
    On St Patrick's Day about three years ago a band used (l) to come to Doe chapel and play during mass.
