    Fox, hare, badger, rabbit, weasel, wildcat, hedgehog, seals.
    Wild Birds.
    Pigeon, wild geese, wild duck, swans, hawk, curlew, woodcock, snipe, moorhen, waterhens, crane, bats, magpie. Various kinds of sea fowl such as :- gulls, scarts, duirans, seapies, corrmhonadh, gannet, sandpiper.
    Poll a madaidh ruaidh - a safe retreat for foxes. Lots of bones, wings, legs of lambs and sheep at mouth of hole.
    Foxes tongue used as a cure for burn, extracting thorn from foot.
    Airc-sléibhe - rubbed on him cures it.
    Rooster - blood of comb for festered sore.
    Seal - oil used to cure sprains.
    Hedgehog - Bristle cures toothache.
