    Some of the travelling folk who have families are now provided with horse or mule-drawn wagons, but many of them sleep in farmers’ out-houses and hay sheds.
    Many of them are in a position to buy their food, but most of them get it by begging.
    One will meet the tramp who will refuse food, and insist upon money.
