  1. Marriage Customs of Long Ago
Long ago when people were getting married they had different customs at the marriages to what they are now. When the people were getting married they would go riding on a horse to the church. There were no motorcars or no buses or lotries long ago. When the women and the man would be going to the church to get married the man would sit up on the horse and the woman behind him. There would be a few more men and women riding on horse back. Then the first one that was in the house would divide the drinks. That night the straw-boys would come and they would have a melodian with them. Then one of them would play and some of them would dance. They would wait there until three o clock in the morning.
