  1. About a mile from our school stands the Breastagh Stone. In the field of John, Langan, Breastagh, Carrowmore, Lacken. It is where Gabra the son of Awley was buried. It is about seven feet high, it is built of stone. The words which are printed on it are "Here lies Gabra the son of Awley".
