There was a beggar woman named Biddy Duffy and she used lodge in certain houses. She died in one of the houses she was lodged in. [told by Ml. Kearney, Carrowmeda, Ballycastle Mayo] - Bantry
There was another beggar woman travelling around, and she was called Bantry. She was very cross. If anyone would say anything to her, she would follow them. She did not like to see any dog or cat. No one liked to give her lodgings because she was very cross. She was fairly old(continues on next page)
