  1. One day a little boy was coming home from school. He went into a blacksmith's forge. After a while the smith told him to go home but he would not. The smith took a red hot iron out of the fire and he left it on the anvil. The boy said "If you give me sixpence I will lick it". The smith gave him sixpence and he licked it and ran home.
