Once a cat came into Pat Cannavan...

    (continued from previous page)
They went up in the room and there was as much light out of their eyes as out of a good lamp. He was afraid to go near them this time.
His wife told him to give them some milk. This he did and the cats drank every sip of it. When they were ready each one in turn came and kissed the ground in front of all that was in the house. Then one after another they went out and disappeared one after another as they stepped on the street. They were never seen again. It was said they did the same thing in Treenfoughname.
    T Sweeney.
