    As I went up to Duffy's shop.
    To see the duffey dye.
    Duffy kicked the bucket
    When he could not kick the can
    And buy a box of matches.
    For the poor old man.
    Up on the mountains
    Thats the place for me.
    Listening to the jackdaw
    Whistling on the tree.
    I always do remember.
    But I never will forget
    The night that poor Duffy
    Got his cocked leg set.
