    The townland I live in is called Madavaugh in Lettermacoward. There are two lakes beside it and tourists come to it in the summertime to fish. There was a man called Micky Ward and he got the privlege of naming this district. So he went over to Cleengort and looked over at Trosclieve and between the gran and the rocks it looked like letters. So he called this district Lettermacaward.
