    Weather Lore
When the sky in the east is of a red colour in the early morning, it is a sign of bad weather.
When the sky at sunset is of a bright yellow; wind is expected and when the sky is a copper colour rain and wind will follow.
When we see a grey dull morning the day usually turns to be fine.
When in the evening we see the clouds some what like fleecy wool rooling across the sky that is a sure sign of rain.
A rainbow in the morning is a sign of fine weather, a rainbow in the morning is a sign of bad weather.
A circle around the moon is a sign of a change in the weather, if the circle is near the moon rain will come, if far away fine weather will come.
When a fog rises from the log in the evening fine weather will continue.
Fine weather is expected when the birds fly towards the sea, when they fly inward stormy weather is expected.
When the curlews fly over the plands screaming it is a sign that hardship is coming.
When the swallows fly low almost touching the ground, rain is sure to follow.
