  1. These are the kinds of bread that were made in olden times, oaten bread indian meal bread boxty bread and flummery bread. Oaten meal bread is made by putting oaten meal and salt into a basin and wetting it with luke warm water. When the cake is kneaded it is rolled out very flat, cut in squares and put on a griddle to bake.
    Indian meal bread is made by putting indian meal and salt into a basin, and wetting it with luke warm water. Some people made flour and indian meal bread. Breadsoda flour, and indian meal are put in it and it is wet with butter milk. Rye bread is made in the same way as oaten meal bread. Boxty bread is made by peeling raw
