  1. The man who has the cure of the running worm and the ringworm in this locality is Christopher McCormick. He says some prayer and rubs his hand to the affected spot at the same time. The person has to go to him three times before he is cured.
    There is supposed to be a cure for warts in a weed called Lambs' quarter. When the stalk is broken across a white liquid flows from it. If this is applied to the warts it cures them.
