    There is a monument in Brogan's field on the Higgins-town road. It was left there by the Danes. There is writing on it.
    There is a monument in Trim erected to the memory of the Duke of Wellington. It is about thirty yards high and two yards wide. His epitaph is written on it. It is surrounded by railings. The Duke of Wellington is supposed to have lived in Trim and that is why it was erected.
    Ther eis a cairn at Bracklen. Co. Westmeath. It is said that a soldier was buried here during the Danish period.
