    Dressing the Bride.
    The conditions of the old rhyme were rigidly adhered to and in arranging her dress for the “Wedding Day” the bride made sure that she:
    “Something old, something new, something borrowed & something blue.”
    Another belief about the colours worn was:
    “Married in blue, you will surely
