  1. Cure for Measles
In some districts near Dundalk it is believed that measles can be cured by the owner of the house performing the following ceremony. He must get twelve straws and walk around the person who has the measles. He is to repeat certain words at the end of which one straw is thrown away. This he is to continue until all the straws are thrown away.
