Some herbs have medicinal cures for e.g. Lusarlin is used for sciatica and is a very severe blister. This herb is so severe that a pad of rushes must be laid beneath it in circles one larger than another Lasarlín if put down on the cup of the joint would draw the jelly out of it. "Mac an dá haba" is used for an evil on the back of the neck or poll but sufferers must not be in the house while the root is roasting. The male buchallán buidhe has a cure for the Yellow Jaundice.
