  1. When the Holy Family were going to Egypt they were stopped by thieves who took them to a cave where they lived and they were very kind to them and gave them a place to sleep in. Next morning when the Blessed Virgin had washed Jesus the wife of one of the thieves took the water and washed her own child in it who was covered with sores and the child was cured immediately. It is said that it was the same child grown up that was the good thief who was crucified with Our Lord.
