    There is some thing here on the shelf before me

    A sod of turf that with devotion.
    I brought away as a souvernir.
    A little thought that beyond the ocean
    Twould one day cause me to shed a tear
    But I will not stop that tear from flowing
    At the thoughts of Ireland valleys and rills.
