  1. The Fairy Tree
There is an old tree in the Townland of Brackloon! It is known as the Fairy tree of Bowery Bush!
A man once cut a branch from the tree to stop a gap.
One night later on this man was returning home from rambling when a man walked out from under the Fairy-tree and ordered the other man to put it back which he did there and then!
He was told by the spirit that he must never touch the fairy tree - or lone bush!
The Spirit then disappeared and to this day no one would dare touch the tree lest he be taken away in the Fairies!
