    The cure of measles is to boil nettles and strain the water of them and drink it.
    Whooping cough

Another is to take a pint of milk to a ferret and let him drink some of it and then give the rest of it to the child. Another is to boil a blessed thistle with milk and drink it and you will be cured.

    The cure of the mumps is to put an ass's winkers on you and you are led in and out to the pig craw saying Leckna, Muckna, Huckna, Huckna, Muckna, Leckna.

    The cure for rheumatism is to put a hot needle in at the back of your legs and you will
