    went away with the dog. That night he came to another house. He knocked at the door and an old man came out. The man said, "This is my brother's dog and how is he". "He is a hundred and fifty years older than I am".
    "Well, he is hardy", said the boy. He told the man that, that night an Evil Spirit was going to kill him.
    "I have two dogs here, named Hark-well and Heavy Sides".
    When they were going to bed, they told Harkwell to go to the door, and told Speedwell to go in the window and Heavy-Sides to go up the chimney. Heavy-Sides said, "The hard job for me at the top of the chimney". That night when they were in bed they heard a lot of noise coming through the sky and the Evil Spirit came. She went to the chimney, and Heavy-Sides knocked her. She went to the door and Harkwell knocked her. She went to the window and
