    A true story about a ghost seen at "Ard Ban", a lonesome spot near Effishmore, Clonmany.

    the cattle off the road and was walking straight towards John. John was frightened but he had the presence of mind to bless himself and hold out the sodality medal to the ghost. The ghost stood and as John advanced towards him with the medal held high in his hand the ghost went back turned himself into a big buck goat, jumped high in the air and made all sorts of wild actions. John seeing that he was afraid of the medal and the sign of the Cross, got courage and said "you are the old nick, back to hell with you for you wont frighten me."
