    Long ago two fairies came to a house and asked the woman of the house for potatoes.

    laughing.
    The fairies went on a road that only one man could walk on and which was called the one man's path.
    They met the man of the house with a bag of turf.
    The man told them to go no farther because there was no house along here. The fairies told him to leave the way and let them get past because they knew the road better than he did and they went on. He watched them
