    A blacksmith very often has to work late to get a job finished which he had not time to do through the day. Other people when they have their work finished usually call in at the forge to have a talk.
    There are a great many stories
    told in a forge. The blacksmith knows all that is going on in the country. People who come in to get some work done usually tell him all the news.
