  2. John Walsh and his brother make and repair shoes. They live in Coill Mor. They come from a family of shoemakers.
    Clogs worn round here still in winter. They buy soles and fit them to uppers of old boots.
    Some never got boots or shoes until they were twenty years of age others got them when they were going to England at fourteen.
