    Patrick is the most name in this district. St Patrick is buried in Down-Patrick. There is an old monastery in the townland of Meenagowan. There is no roof on this monastery. The monks were hunted out of that place long ago. The soldiers came from Dungloe that time and hunted the monks. There are a couple of holy
