    lost her mind when she witnessed it and she had to be removed to a mental home. The little boy had to be sent to an hospital and he recovered. The shins healed, but he had to walk on his knees provided with leather gaiters strapped on to the knees. The boy was John Kenneally and he served his time to the tailoring trade. he was able to earn a good wage. He used to walk miles from town to town. Mrs. Killeen, aged 68, can tell this story for she knew the boy.
