    field in the village Póll h-eiste:- This got its name from a mountain which there was a bit of good land. There is not many other names in the village because in the olden times all Irish that was spoken. This is another name Póll Dubh:- This was a big field that used to be very black. This is another name which was down mountain Scéal an nDoaredhe: I tis a big rock in the mountain.
