  2. The arms of O'Malleys are: Argent, a boar passant gales, between three long bows bent and charged with arrows, pointing to the fess-point, sable; and between these long bows in base a by mphad [?], sable.
    Crest: A horse rampart, argent
    Motto: Terra Marique Potens.
    The arms registered by Sir Samuel O'Malley with the Ulster King-at-arm are like these except that the crest is a horse at speed, and the boar is hanged azure, and crined or . The arms of the O'Malleys of Hawthorn Lodge were registered in 1775.
