    1692 Cormac Dubh died at St. Germains in Loye.
    1700 George, son of Owen of Burrishoole, married Mary Blake; Loughlin mor married Jane Cuffe of Creagh, Co. Mayo; Loughlin was the first O'Malley to become a Protestant. He fought nine duels in defense of his' "convictions.
    1719 Teige of Achill married Mary mac Sweeny of Rathmullin Castle.
    1728 Edmond of Aran's Well married Martha Crump.
    1758 Edmond mor of Currachd na Mhailli married Mary mac Grael. Owen of Melcombe, grandson of Owen of Burrishoole, a lawyer, prominent at this time.
    1780 Owen of Melcombe killed by poison; his wife was accused of the murder, but acquitted.
    1789 Captain Joseph O'Malley and his cousin, Captain Seamus Bawn O'Malley, hanged by the English as "rebels" after the Battle of Ballinamuck: Captain Austin, Joseph's brother, escaped to France, joined the Leigion
