    ground and ready for use. Almost every house had at least a few bags of oatmeal. The farmers in this district brought their oats to to Ballyvary mill and up to Glore mill near Kiltimagh. This was about twenty-five or thirty years ago. Further back there was a grinding stone about a mile from our village where the people brought their oats. There was not much wheat grown in this
