    Potatoe cake was made from boiled potatoes and flour and salt.
    Boxty bread was made from raw potatoes and boiled ones mashed. Some flour was added then the mixture was kneaded and made into a cake and baked in a pan. Oat meal bread was made by putting oat meal into the basin and some flour and a grain of sugar and a cup of hot water then it was all kneaded up together.
