This is a very old story that happened years ago, perhaps it is about a hundred or two hundred years. It is about an old lady who lived in Flagmount .her name was Maura De Graney. She was very fond of bathing .One day she was drowned in the lake called Lough Graney. Her body was found in Derry Graney and she is buried in Tuamgraney so all those three places are called after her.
