    Diseases. Cures.
    Rheumatism. Rub the affected parts with nettles.
    Toothache. Put a live frog into your mouth.
    Whooping cough. Walk three times under an ass's stomach. Milk the ass, and drink the milk.
    Craosgalar. A person who never saw his father can cure this disease. Get him to come three successive mornings, fasting and blow into your mouth. James Fitzgerald never saw his father. He lives in Fossabeg.
    Wringworm. Michael Moroney of Ballyglass can make up a plaster to cure it. The plaster when rubbed to the wringworm is said to be very painful.
    Bonnlock. Rub chicken-weed to it.
