  1. It is said, that when there is a black ring around the moon, When the stars are shooting or when the sky is grey in the evening and red in the morning, that rain is surely coming. When the sky is red in the evening and grey in the morning you may be sure of a fine day.
    If the wind comes from Moninton you may expect rain. If it comes from Ballybay fine weather is likely to come.
