  1. Kiltinan got its m name from Bishop Tyan who in the Penal days was hunted be the English. He was captured at a place about 6 miles from Clonmel.
    He was flung from a bridge into a stream and his blood is still to be sen on the stone where he fell. That is how Kiltinan got its name,
