  1. Story: Myler Mac Grath
During the reign of Queen Elizabeth the Catholics of Ireland were severely persecuted.
There was a bishop at Cashel called Dr. Myler Mac Grath. He turned a protestant. One day he was passing by the road, and he saw a poor man dying by the roadside and had pity on him. He said to himself, “Once a priest a priest forever.” He heard the poor man’s confession and gave him absolution, and when he had that done the poor man died.
