    Birch sap

    Celery-seed
    - 1 oz of the seed. 1 qrt of water. Boil the water and seed down to one pint and rub to joint is a for rheumatism.
    Bread-soda
    - Make paste. It is a cure for sun-burn.
    Eel.
    - Skin the eel and wear as a belt. This is a cure for Pain in back.
    Crane or Heron
    - Hang the bird upside-down and put a pot under it. The oil flows out of its beak is a cure for rheumatism.
    Nettles
    - Beat the affected part with the nettles is a cure for rheumatism
