  1. Paddy Carroll goes around from house to house and takes a cup of tea in one house, and then sleeps in the corner. He takes his dinner in the next house and has another sleep, and so on day after day. He has certain houses in which he sleeps at night.
Owen Connelly goes about with a bag gathering bottles. In exchange for the bottles he gives pins and needles. He is always welcome because he is very poor and has a wife and family to support.
