    years ago when a man was watching a mare to foal in Carriga. When he got tired, he went home. When he went into the house, he looked out the window and when he turned round he saw a fairy taking the baby out of the cradle and giving it to another fairy outside the window and then the fairy put another baby into the cradle.
    The man gave the baby to his mother and she said that was not her own baby and the man said "It is your own baby." His mother put the baby in the cradle. The next morning she got up and looked at the baby, and then she said that it was her own baby.
    When the man went down to look at the mare, he got a baby in a field and the fairies told him to burn it. The man went home to burn it,
