    (1) It is a custom to eat nuts, and apples, and to play games, and tricks on Hallowe'en night.
    (2) It is a custom to make hot cross buns on good Friday to remind the people of the death of our Lord on the Cross.
    (3) It is a custom to clean up the house and decorate it with holly for Christmas.
    (4) It is a custom to wear a Shamrock on Saint Patrick's day in remembrance of his death on the 17th March as he is our Patron Saint.
    (5) Srove Tuesday is often called pancake Tuesday, because it is the custom to make pancakes on that day.
    (6) It is a custom to eat to eat eggs on Easter Sunday.
