There is no work done on that day. We go to Mass on that day. In years gone by St Patrick's Day used to be a great day for sport and dancing. There are conserts and plays on that night. Some people get married on that day. Long ago most of the Irishmen got drunk on that day, and they thought by so doing that they were honouring St Patrick
