  1. There are a number of stories about hidden treasures. Three years ago the thrasher was coming to thrash for us. When it was coming down the road one wheel of the mill sunk. The men threw in stones and they could hear them going away under the ground. They got the entrance filled but it gradually sunk down, it was refilled and now it is sinking again. It is thought that there is a tunnel running to the Clonlyon castle because there is a hollow in the field in that direction. If it is ever explored money will probably be found in it.
