come to the place where they want to stop they make their stall out of their carts.
Hawkers, peddlars, and dealers visited the district in former times and do so still to purchase feathers, rags, bottles and also old scrap iron and give in exchange for those delph and money.
In former times the markets were held in places some thing similar to the market squares now, and the places were called "fair greens" and the were open to all the public.
The 'fair greens' are not used in this district now but they are in the nearest counties such as Carlow and other places.
Money was mostly given for goods and sometimes they used to barter, and also they used to give a few days labour in exchange for goods such as tea, sugar etc.
