There is a place in Drinagh called Hermitage
    It is haunted.
It is said that there was a grim fight carried on in the underground passage which leads from Hermitage to Johnstown Castle.
A Yoeman was killed in the passage and every night after 12 a black dog is to be seen running through Hermitage gate and the people who see the dog faints.
The dog is the devil and the devil, it is said, is the Yoeman.
